Punjabi Classes

Panjabi School at Gurdwara Singh Sabha holds classes every Saturday and Sundays 12:00-1:00PM for beginners classes. From 1:00pm-2:00PM we offer GCSE and A-Level curriculum learning. Both classes are suitable for 5 - 18 year age groups. The cost to register your child is £XX, which is paid each term, this fee is to cover costs of books and learning material.

Both GuruKhars have light and spacious classrooms for easy learning, which have ALL recently been refurbished!

Barking is supported with a Library (see library page). There is also life for wheelchair access for the two classrooms situated on the first floor.

We are currently undergoing a restructure to maximise best teaching practise and support to your child at every level to learn the Gurus Alphabet. For a application for please visit either of our two offices during office hours for more information.

Our second Guru, Guru Angad Dev Ji created the Gurmukhi alphabet! Guru Ji simplified the then used language which was restricted to certain social classes to allow anyone from any background to learn, speak and more importantly sing the Holy Shabad.
